Scope and operator

These terms govern use of Freelance Tax Desk at https://freelancetaxdesk.com, operated from Spain by Andrés Molina, trading name Risalix, Benelux 20, 28341 Valdemoro, Madrid, Spain. Contact: ayuda@energiaencasa.es. They apply to the informational publication, not a professional engagement for tax, legal, accounting, or investment services.

Educational use

The site explains U.S. freelance tax concepts, deductions, recordkeeping, and financial organization in general terms. It is not a substitute for current official guidance or advice addressing your facts. Reading an article, using an example, or sending an inquiry does not establish an accountant-client, adviser-client, attorney-client, or fiduciary relationship.

Our Financial and Tax Disclaimer explains these limits in more detail. Tax years, filing status, state rules, and individual circumstances can materially change an answer.

Acceptable conduct

Use the website lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not attempt unauthorized access, introduce malware, overload the service, submit deceptive or unlawful material, or interfere with security. Do not send confidential tax records or personal identifiers through the general contact form.

Quotations and ordinary links are welcome within applicable copyright exceptions. Automated extraction, republication, or commercial reuse of substantial protected content requires permission unless the law provides otherwise.

Intellectual property

Original text and design are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Third-party materials remain the property of their respective rights holders and may carry their own licenses. You may read and retain material for personal reference; this does not transfer ownership or grant unrestricted republication rights. Statutory quotation, fair-use, and other mandatory exceptions remain available where applicable.

Accuracy, availability, and responsibility

We seek to make explanations useful, but do not promise uninterrupted access or guarantee that every statement remains complete, current, or suitable for a particular purpose. IRS guidance, legislation, court decisions, state rules, third-party tools, and deadlines can change. Verify the tax year and authoritative sources before acting.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for losses caused by reliance on general educational material without checking its suitability for your circumstances, or for interruptions and external services outside the operator’s reasonable control. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, liability for intentional wrongdoing, or mandatory consumer rights. No statement here guarantees a tax saving, refund, investment return, or business result.

External links and commercial relationships

Links can direct you to official sources and independent third parties. A link is not a guarantee of accuracy or an endorsement of every service on the linked website. Third parties control their own terms and privacy practices. Any future sponsored or commission-bearing recommendation must be clearly identified near the relevant content, as described in our Affiliate Disclosure.

Privacy and changes

Personal data and cookies are explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. We may update content and these terms; the date on this page identifies the current revision. A later change does not retroactively remove rights that have already accrued.

Applicable law and disputes

The operator is established in Spain, so Spanish law governs these terms subject to conflict-of-law rules and any mandatory protections applicable to a user. Referring to U.S. tax law in articles does not select U.S. law for the operator’s establishment. Disputes are subject to the courts competent under applicable law; these terms do not require consumers to waive a mandatory local forum.
